Provides support to users on all approved computer applications and hardware.
Coordinates information sharing to RIS/PACS personnel, department management, radiologists, IT, and other Medical Imaging information system users.
Maintains ongoing technical expertise on computer products.
Maintains computer vendor contracts.
Performs problem determination and resolution of all aspects. This includes dictation, R%IS, and PACS systems, as well as procedural problems.
High school diploma preferred or high school equivalency
Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire.
Two years of experience in a customer service environment
Two years working in a Medical Imaging environment or other healthcare organization.
Working knowledge of PACS software.
Working knowledge of clinical health care information systems computer applications is preferred (patient management, nursing orders, patient accounting, etc).
General office and business protocol knowledge preferred.
