UnityPoint Health is searching for Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team in the Cedar Valley,

  • Full Time outpatient practice

  • Multidisciplinary team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, CMA, RN, Telehealth and LISWs

  • Working directly with individuals and families to provide accessible Mental Health Services

  • Community supportive mental health for 68 years

  • Case Managers and Therapist available for court reports and routine request

  • Staff available for prior authorizations for medications

  • Co-occurring Mental Health Preferred but not required

  • 100 + New Patients monthly with case load 6,500

  • Schedule flexibility to accommodate work/life balance

  • No call Required

  • Hours Monday-Friday with evening hours available

  • Initial psychiatric evaluations

  • Provides psychiatric follow-ups

  • Electronic prescribing through EHR-Certified C2 Stimulants

  • Long acting injectable available onsite

  • Telefonic (Via Phone) Call Only

  • Limited meetings required so you can focus on direct patient care

  • MD or DO

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Ability to work as a team member

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
