Title: PDP Manufacturing Engineer - 49834

Your Responsibilities

As a PDP Assembly Manufacturing Engineer for the Waterloo Works facility located in Waterloo, IA, you will establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans and labor standards for 9R Chassis / Final Line New Product.

What Skills You Need

  • 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing with exposure to process engineering, facilities, maintenance, and operations

  • 2 or more years of experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance, mistake proofing, safety, and ergonomics

  • Experience in roles that required a working understanding of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)

  • Experience in roles that required a working knowledge of capital budgeting and capital equipment justification process

  • Experience in roles that required a working knowledge of database management tools, the various accounting systems, and process management systems

  • Experience with shop floor manufacturing, incentive pay systems such as CIPP (Continuous Improvement Pay Plan) and work measurement

  • Experience actively engaging in a team environment comprised of multiple functional groups (design, wage, operations, quality, materials)

  • Solid written and oral communication skills

What Makes You Stand Out

Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:

  • Experience with line/process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance

  • Experience working with Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP)

  • Experience with SAP, ALiSS, DLBT, MAAP, FactoryCAD, Wplanner, Build Readiness, and Creo View

  • Prior experience working with large tractor assembly

  • 5 or more years' experience in manufacturing with assignments in manufacturing, engineering, and operations

  • Prior experience conducting decision analysis

Education (or equivalent work experience)

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Manufacturing
