Description:

  • Seeking a full-time PA or NP to join our Heart Care team

  • Collaborate with three cardiologists and four APPs to provide quality patient care

  • Provides follow up care in the clinic setting, inpatient care, including hospital discharge education and supervises stress tests

  • Works to ensure patient satisfaction and positive relationships with physicians and staff

  • Located at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center

  • Employed multi-specialty group of more than 180 providers in northeast Iowa-physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners

Candidates

  • Graduate of accredited IBN approved MSN program or IBPA approved physician assistant training program. Iowa licensure required.

  • Possesses Federal and State Controlled Substance prescribing authority

  • AANP/ANCC or NCCPA certification, ACLS, Mandatory Reporter required

  • EOE/drug screen required
