As an In-Home Services Scheduler you will play a key role in helping older adults remain independent and in their homes for as long as possible. You will create and manage the daily work schedules of the team members who provide assistance to our clients.

This is a great opportunity to use your exceptional organization and problem solving skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency. You must have great communication skills and a passion for hospitality. The In-Home Services Scheduler position requires flexibility and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Your principal responsibilities will include:

  • Entering and maintaining staff data using scheduling software.

  • Determining and recording work assignments according to team member availability, location, job classification, and restrictions.

  • Adjusting staff schedules daily or as needed to meet unforeseen conditions.

  • Communicating staff schedule information to clients, family members, or other care team members at the initiation of service and when assignments change.

  • Verifying accuracy of weekly schedules for staff and verifying individual visits for each team member to confirm visits occur as scheduled and to track variations.

  • Notifying the supervisor if a visit did not occur as scheduled or according to the client’s plan of care.

Job Requirements

Minimum requirements:

  • Intermediate computer skills.

  • Organizational skills.

  • Flexibility.

  • Ability to speak effectively to clients, family members, staff, and others.

  • Ability to develop and maintain clear communications and foster positive working relationships between program participants.

  • Ability to process simple mathematical calculations (compute rate, ratio, and percent).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in human service field preferred (we will consider applicable work experience in lieu of degree).

  • Work experience in home care scheduling.
