Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:
MEDICAL CUSTOMER SERVICE REP
1-Full-time (Approximately 40 hours per week - work from home)
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
Previous successful work experience providing exceptional customer service
Strong and proficient computer and data entry skills
Health insurance knowledge or background a definite plus
Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred
Experience managing and organizing multiple tasks simultaneously
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
Call patients with telehealth appointments the following day. Send patient registration link and then remain on the call until the patient completes registration.
Call patients with same-day telehealth appointments who have yet to register and talk through registration process with them.
Contact slide patients via phone with upcoming appointments whose slide has expired or is set to expire and schedule an appointment with a Financial Counselor. Educate patients on slide requirements.
Work the Phreesia icons including HRSA values, employment status, county and emergency contact information and updating the information in Practice Management System.
Direct patients to other agencies where appropriate.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

- High School or better
