Pella Regional Health Center Health Information Tech - Record Analyst in Pella, Iowa
Under the direction of the HIM Manager, processes encounters after discharge for completeness and adherence to required standards and guidelines. Scans and/or uploads documents into the electronic medical record system. Coordinates patient portal inquires and patient set-up. Will provide excellent customer service to customers and PRHC staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
One or more years of medical record experience or certification in health information or related field, preferred.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English
Strong written, oral, and positive communication skills.
Strong computer knowledge with keyboarding, data entry and office machines; attention to detail.
Ability to understand and carry out detailed directions with independence.
Must demonstrate strong work ethic and responsibility.
Must be willing to take initiative and complete duties other than those specifically assigned in order to meet the needs of the department.
Must demonstrate ability to multi-task and handle a busy workload.
