Pella Regional Health Center CMA/LPN in Pella, Iowa
Responsible for duties related to direct assistance of the Hilltop residents. He/She works with a nurse aide/personal care attendant to ensure the completion of resident care. Assignments and general routines are completed independently but cooperatively with co-workers. Demonstrates the ability to work with older persons.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
v Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of Iowa for Long Term Care Facilities.
v Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within three (3) months of hire date.
v Current Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) certification in the State of Iowa.
v Ability to read, speak and comprehend English.
v Ability to communicate effectively with older persons.
v Ability to demonstrate empathy and kindness toward residents as well as co-workers.
v Must demonstrate responsibility and a strong work ethic.
v Must be able to work semi-independently and follow directions as given.
v Must be able to organize work and complete tasks within assigned time frames.
v Must demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
v Must be flexible, willing to accept changes to routine.
