The Blood Center is based in Davenport, Iowa, where MVRBC's testing, processing and primary distribution center handles more than 250,000 units of blood components each year. Charge positions available to support our mobile operations.Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center (MVRBC) is the sole provider of blood and blood products to over 88 hospitals throughout IA, IL, WI and MO. Our aim is to provide world-class blood products and services to communities in need. To achieve this, we need passionate, talented professionals to join our team.Our Charges use their healthcare skills to oversee the blood drive and ensure collections run smoothly while providing donor care. Charges will carry out all functions of the donation process; register, screen and draw our healthy, happy donors as they roll up their sleeves to make those life saving donations.Ideal candidates have experience in the medical/health care field as well as strong leadership skills. Previous supervisory or management experience is required. Candidates must have a valid drivers license with less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years. Extensive training is part of our culture. To be considered, candidates must be able to complete a two week training in one of our training centers initially and additional training later.This full time position will be working 30-39 hours per week with a varying schedule to include evenings and weekends.
