Job Summary
This Full Time Float position is a member of the patient care team that provides professional nursing care in an individual manner to patients of the hospital considering physical, psychological, environmental, spiritual, social, economic and rehabilitative needs according to established standards and practices. This position assists the physician during treatment and exam and administers medications per physician order. This position observes, records and reports appropriately the symptoms, reactions and progress of patients, and provides patient education on illness management, disease prevention, and health promotion. Full time RN position. Shifts are 12 hour night shifts, will include every 3rd weekend and every other holiday. This position will float as needed to Med/Surg, ER, Clinic, OR. Education: Successful completion of accredited RN program. Also requires a current, active IA Registered Nurse license. 2 years of experience preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties Job Summary

This is a full time position (36 hours per week) every 3rd weekend will need worked. Will cross train to ER and other areas as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure from the Iowa State Board of Nursing, ACLS, and PALS certification required within two years of employment. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
