Clarke County Hospital Infection Control Support: Entrance Screener - TEMPORARY ROLE in Osceola, Iowa
Description of Position:
The Infection Control Support Staff works to promote health and safety to all patients and employees by assisting in facilitation of patient surveillance which includes: infection control related disease detection and prevention.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
Assisting organizations, implementation, and evaluation of infection control initiatives to educate and heighten awareness of infection prevention topics.
Assist and support the infection control and employee health department in follow infection control related disease detection and prevention.
Assists employee health department on monitoring staff and visitors for disease prevention.
Engaging hospital staff in infection control initiatives to educate and heighten awareness of infection prevention topics.
Participate in the development and activities of the Emergency Preparedness Plan to include the Pandemic Plan and carry out the initiatives as needed.
Demonstrate Clarke County Hospital Standards of Behavior.
Shift Information: Opportunities in this role may be Part Time AND Full Time. This position could work between 20 to 36-40 hours per week. Shifts will include days, evenings, and will also include a weekend rotation, and also a holiday rotation.

Education:
High School Education or GED
Certification or education in health care or education preferred.
Experience:
Experience working with the public.
Health care or education experience preferred.
License(s)/Certification(s):
Valid driver?s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
