Hours: 7:00pm - 7:30am- Weekends and Holidays as fall in schedule.

About the Job

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Medical and Surgical area. Is responsible and accountable for the delivery of patient care during the patient stay. Assists and directs the work of the support staff in the provision of care while maintaining professional nursing standards. Performs general nursing duties with minimal supervision. Assists in the Emergency Room as needed.

What We Are Looking For


  • Graduate of a program in professional nursing

  • Current RN licensure in the State of Iowa required BSN preferred


  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred

  • Previous Emergency Room experience desirable

Special Skills and Competencies:

  • Completes Introduction to Telemetry class or equivalent within 3 months of hire

  • Experience with computer software and willingness to learn new software (Excel, Microsoft, electronic health record, WorkDay, etc.)

  • Ability to work flexible hours
