Pay Range: $18.00 - $26.14

Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., every 3rd weekend, every other Holiday.

JOB SUMMARY : The licensed practical nurse provides care to the adolescent, adult, and geriatric surgical/oncology patients under the supervision of the registered nurse. Using the nursing process, this individual provides patient care with the multidisciplinary team.

QUALIFICATIONS : Graduate of a program in professional nursing. Current LPN licensure in the state of Iowa. Previous acute care experience is preferred. Must provide proof of Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (BLS Healthcare Provider or HealthStream Heart Code) or American Red Cross (Professional Rescuer) via current card prior to employment. Maintains current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support. Completes Mandatory Reporting requirement within 6 months of hire. Renews Mandatory Reporting requirement every 5 years. Ability to work flexible hours. Completes Introduction to Telemetry class or equivalent within 3 months of hire.
