Ensure compliance with federal, state andlocal Health, Safety, Environment and Security regulations and Syngentapolicies and standards. Responsible forall aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Security programs development,implementation and improvement. Addexpertise and collaborate with the greater Syngenta Health, Safety, Environmentand Security community.Essential Duties &Responsibilities:Ensuresite compliance with federal, state and local HSE&S regulations andSyngenta policies and standards, including securityOwnthe development, implementation, maintenance and improvement of a comprehensiveHSE program and related management systems for site(s)Coordinateand risk assess projects impacting HSE, e.g., management of change (i.e.quality changes, process improvements, etc.), new construction, and otherinitiativesPrimarypoint of contact between NA HSE&S Corporate or HSE&S Regulatory Entityand Site(s)Lead,influence and own all HSE&S Site(s) Inspections (regulatory or otherwise)through action plan closureFacilitateLetter of Assurance and Operational Safety Profile process, communicatesignificant HSE risks to the business, and oversee action item closureProvideHSE&S related guidance and training for all employees, 3rd partycontract employees, trade contractors and visitors Employ HSE&S awarenesstechniques, including toolbox talks, safety meetings/committees and safetyalerts; enhance employee engagementDevelop,improve and maintain site Intranet information, databases and pertinentrecords, SAP and other database entry as needed.Participateon site incident investigations and lead HSE&S communications regardingincident learning'sParticipateon cross-functional teams, partner with peers and support all network-wideinitiativesAssistManager as required in all areas of operations as it relates to HSE&Sprinciples, including operational and capital budgets, may participate in performancereviews of personnelMaintaina strong presence onsite through site walk-throughs, inspections, etc. - expect40% of time on the plant floorQualificationsQualifications:Afour-year degree required.
