The Vice President of Regional Hospital/Chief Executive Office is employed by part of a management contract with the Board of Trustees of the Regional Healthcare Center. The position requires the necessary leadership to drive the organization to continually improve the quality of patient care, the fiscal performance, the optimal use of resources including the physical plant and the ability to enhance the organizations public and professional image consistent with the philosophy and mission of MMC-NI and Mercy Health Network. This leader works with MMC-NI leadership, the Board of Trustees, the local leadership team and medical staff to develop strategic plans and execute those plans. The goals are to provide needed services to the community with strategic focus while ensuring financial stability. This requires the development of infrastructure for operations and goals, indicators or targets, to measure success while creating a culture that continually strives to do so.
Master’s degree in hospital administration or related field (MBA, MSN) or consideration of relevant hospital management experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
A minimum of 3 years hospital management experience.
