SummaryAssists Quality department with projects and tasks supporting manufacturing and continuous process improvement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following (other duties may be assigned):Product Development and Design Control: Complete assigned quality and manufacturing verification and validation for new and existing products. Complete changes to associated standard operating procedures, drawings, and/or change orders.
Manufacturing Support: Document and perform manufacturing project qualification or verification activities to increase productivity and efficiency in the manufacturing areas
Continuous Process Improvement: Use product and process improvement techniques like process capability studies, process time studies, and value stream mapping to drive process reliability, low cost manufacturing, and complaint free products.
Production Support: Investigate production or process issues and help complete associated process or drawing changes.

One to three semesters of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, desired.Skills and Abilities Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Minitab. Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings, geometric tolerances. Ability to travel between the Coralville and Kalona locations. Regular, predictable attendance is required.
