Cerner PRN Pharmacist in Iowa
Cerner Corporation is currently seeking a PRN Pharmacist for our on-site pharmacy for a large, local employer in Des Moines, IA. As a PRN Pharmacist you will prepare and oversee preparation and dispensing of prescription medications to members. You will make decisions regarding generic substitution of prescribed pharmaceuticals and oversee the acquisition of drugs and medications. The PRN Pharmacist will also counsel members on drug indications/contraindications, dosage, drug interactions, and side effects and provide other drug and pharmaceutical information as appropriate.

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program
At least 3 years of work experience in community or clinical pharmacy setting
Current Basic Cardiovascular Life Support Certification
Pharmacy Doctorate from an accredited program
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, overtime or irregular hours when needed
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understanding personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Must live in or near the Des Moines, IA area
