The position will include fabrication of novel device concepts (e.g. lenslets, metamaterials) for maximizing output power, MBE growth, and device testing and design.The ideal candidate will have a background in optoelectronics, device microfabrication (RIE, e-beam evaporation, photolithography, e-beam lithograph), and III-V MBE growth. Experience in characterization techniques such as LIV characterization, electro- and photoluminescence, x-ray diffraction, Hall measurements, is a plus. A Ph.D. in electrical or optical engineering, physics or related field is required.
