The responsibilities of the postdoctoral scholar include experimental design, acquisition and analysis of research data, maintaining note books, troubleshooting experiments, training graduate students and research assistants, manuscript preparation, and presentation of research findings at lab meetings and scientific conferences. An individualized mentoring support will be provided to the postdoctoral scholar to develop creative ideas and approaches for independent research projects.
