The lab uses a combination of molecular and biochemical techniques that includes in vitro transcription, genome editing with CRISPR, RNA-Seq, PRO-Seq and novel bioinformatics analyses. We are especially interested in the RNA polymerase II elongation control, the role of promoter proximal pausing, and the interplay of transcription and chromatin structure.less than/p>less thanbr>less thanbr>less thanstrong>Education Requirement:less than/strong>less thanp>Interested applicants must have (or soon expect to have) a Ph.D. in a field that involves molecular and biochemical training. All PhD requirements must be met by the start date of employment.less than/p>less thanbr>less thanbr>less thanstrong>Required Qualifications:less than/strong>less thanp>Candidates must have successfully performed complex biochemical and molecular analyses. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
