This position will be a non-tenure clinical track faculty position. Research is not required on the clinical track. Responsibilities include providing gynecological care to reproductive age women at an off-site clinic, performing office gynecological procedures, providing health education and presentations to students, and participating in outreach services. There is an opportunity for development of specialized clinic services and/or clinical research.Education Requirement:Successful applicant must possess an M.D. Degree or equivalent and have completed a U.S. residency in obstetrics and gynecology.Required Qualifications:Required qualifications include excellent clinical skills, ability to perform gynecological procedures including, but not limited to, colposcopy, LEEP, endometrial biopsies, skin/vulvar biopsies, intrauterine device placement and removal, and Nexplanon insertion and removal. Applicants are required to have excellent skills in patient management, strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated teaching skills, demonstrated team behavior and proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system. Applicants are required to have 10+ years practice and teaching in an academic medical setting. Travel to off-site outpatient clinic locations is required. Ability to provide presentations and health education on evenings/weekends to students is required.
