Buchanan County Health Center Speech Language Pathologist in Independence, Iowa
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide inpatient and outpatient therapeutic and consultative speech, language, and hearing services to children and adults approved for services. The Speech Language Pathologist will perform clinical, administrative and marketing functions to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for improved daily living and working and to enhance this service line.
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited Speech–Language Pathology program.
Meets professional qualifications required by and is licensed by the Iowa State Board of Health or the ability to obtain upon hire.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) certification required.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with a varied patient population preferred, but not required.
