Nursing Director

About the Position

The Nursing Director will plan, direct, and evaluate activities necessary to administer the nursing programs at the Fort Dodge, Storm Lake, and Webster City centers and within the surrounding service area. The Director will assess, admit, advise, and recruit potential nursing students. The Director is responsible for evaluating and reporting student performance and progress in assigned courses in accordance with department, division, and college policies and accrediting agencies. The Director must maintain current certification and licensure within the nursing field.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution of higher learning required; earned Doctorate preferred. Two or more years of college teaching experience. Must hold a current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Iowa. Requires organizational skills and decision making to promote collaboration and teamwork; effective communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated capacity to build and sustain a quality academic program.

Salary Range

$70,000-75,000.
