PPE is provided to all of our employees that will have contact with patients.Wehave implemented the following measures:We are maintainingsocial distancing ofat least 6 feetin both the workplace and during home delivery/pickup, whenever possible.We are asking patients to complete a screening questionnaire to determine high-risk situations for our employees.We have enhanced cleaning procedures for all of our equipment.We are communicating frequently with our employees regarding the latest guidance from the CDC.TEXT ROTECH TO 51893 TO JOIN OUR TALENT NETWORK JOB INFORMATION We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative.In this role you will be responsible for performing all tasks and communication related to intake of patient information concerning the service of durable medical equipment and respiratory products and supplies with patients/clients, co-workers and referral sources as it relates to patient services and third party reimbursement.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists with updating respiratory grid and maintains referral logClears previous days route and checks all paperwork for accuracy and completenessCompletes SOPs/CMNs and documents on tracking logComplies with all applicable company policies and procedures to meet JCAHO and company standardsCoordinates all patient information, processes paperwork, including preparation of file for billing department and completes batch reports for UPS deliveriesDevelops and maintains a working knowledge of current products and services and Medicare, Medicaid, insurance regulations and FDA/DOT and JCAHO guidelinesManages all aspects of intake; answering the phone and receiving faxes, collecting patient and referral source information, inputting data into IMBS, printing tickets, assembling charts and processing paperworkMonitors office suppliesPrepares complete and accurate files for billing departmentPrepares deposit for location on a weekly basisPrepares invoices for next day routesPrepares tickets for daily routesProcesses paperwork-confirms tickets, inputs new patient set-ups and assembles charts Provides service for all retail/walk-in equipment requestsProvides technical assistance to customersVerifies Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance coverage informationWorks with outside agencies to resolve customer issuesPerforms other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNone QUALIFICATIONS Employment is contingent onBackground investigationDrug screenEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED equivalentOne to three years of related prior work experience in a team-oriented environmentExperience in medical field and administrative record managementStrong customer service backgroundSkills, Knowledge and AbilitiesEffectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with physicians, location employees and patients to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely mannerHelpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitudeInterpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediumsKnowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)Knowledge of insurance policies and requirementsKnowledge of medical billing practices and of billing reimbursementMaintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive informationMapping skills including ability to plan time-saving delivery routesMechanical aptitude with ability to lea
