The online Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program at Grand View University invites applications for qualified individuals to teach graduate master-level courses. All courses are online and are taught in 8-week terms utilizing Blackboard.
Grand View CMHC is looking for adjunct faculty members that will enhance and enrich the course with clinical and practical knowledge of the subject. The candidate should have experience in clinical supervision and training and demonstrated commitment to the counseling profession and be a member of the ACA. Faculty are expected to be available to the student, reply to emails with 24 to 36 hours, participate in discussions, post grades on time, weekly announcements, issuing final grades, have virtual office hours, and adhere to Grand View Policies and Procedures.
Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision (CACREP accredited is preferred) or Counseling Psychology or a closely related field is preferred.
Previous teaching experience (preferred).
Established counselor professional identity.
It is preferred that the candidate is license eligible or holds licensure as a mental health counselor.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Proficient with Blackboard.
