Mayo Clinic Health System in Decorah, Iowa, is seeking a board eligible/board certified General Surgeon to join an established practice full-time. You may expect a busy practice in a physician- led, financially stable organization committed to both high quality care and patient satisfaction.

Candidates must be board-certified/board-eligible in general surgery. Surgeons must have training/experience and qualified skills in areas of appendix, gall bladder, hernia, basic laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures and C-Sections (rural training desirable).

  • Bread and Butter General Surgery procedures

  • Call is 1:3 (Flexible call schedule)

  • Travel to regional clinics 2 to 4 times per month may be expected
