Position Purpose & Summary

Regional Reliability Engineer is a key member to the manufacturing excellence team enabling best in class reliable, safe and environmental compliant operations. This position will facilitate Reliability Excellence initiatives to lower total maintenance cost, improve stability factor, improve asset health, and direct proper equipment maintenance strategies. Utilize correct application of reliability strategies such as Reliability Centered Maintenance(RCM), Equipment life-cycle analysis, Defect Elimination, Cause Analysis, 5S, 5 Why, Kaizen, proactive work activities, on-condition and predictive technologies and Failure Modes Effect Analysis (FMEA). Coach and develop others on reliability excellence models. Support and execute reliability deliverables for capital projects according to PDP deliverables.

Principal Accountabilities

40% Manufacturing Excellence for RE (bad actors elimination, technical specifications, equipment maintenance strategies evaluation, etc.)

15 % Facilitate and mentor PM Optimization.

15 % Facilitate and mentor RCM/RCA.

10 % Support and execute deployment of Mechanical Integrity Program.

10 % Monitor and mentor maintenance planning for precision, quality, & quantity.

5 % Assist with capital & RTG budget for 3-5-year planning.

5 % Accountable for RE deliverables for Capital PDP.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Engineering or higher Degree with 5 or more years of Engineering, Production, or Reliability experience.Or High School Diploma/GED or higher degree with 7 or more years of Engineering, Production, or Reliability experience.

  • Or High School Diploma/GED or higher degree with 7 or more years of Engineering, Production, or Reliability experience.

  • 3 years or more years of experience predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, tribology, etc.)

  • Travel up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering.

  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)

  • SAP experience.

  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

  • Change Management experience

  • Project management experience.

  • Budget preparation, procurement, scheduling experience.

  • Experience with Soybean Processing, or similar industries, including an understanding of all requirements that must be met to maintain food safety, environmental and personal safety compliance (i.e. OSHA, PSM, USDA, FDA).
