This is a part-time Monday-Friday position that will primarily function in the office. This position is perfect for the candidate that enjoys working in an office setting as well as interacting with patients and referral sources.iJOB SUMMARYProvide clerical/clinical support to Agency. Office functions will include new patient intake/referral duties and Oasis documentation review. This role must project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction.iQUALIFICATIONSBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills requiredKnowledge of a variety of computer software programs and telephone protocolProfessional verbal and written communication skillsMaturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the jobAcceptance of philosophy and goals of this AgencyAbility to exercise initiative and independent judgmentCurrent LPN licensure in the State of Iowa in good standingiRESPONSIBILITIESAnswer telephones and transfer appropriatelyAccept intake/referral/inquiry calls as needed, providing positive company representation. Perform other intake duties: verify current staffing availability with Clinical Manager, verify insurance, data entry of referral into software system, obtain required documentation (Face-to-face, HandP and Medication list) from referral source and/or physician, coordinate meet and greet and RN initial visit and data enter medications into software systemDevelops a cooperative relationship and communicates effectively and professionally with patients, families, co-workers and referral sourcesPerform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filingTrack and Audit Oasis documentation and ensure documentation is completed and turned in timelyReview Oasis documentation, as trained by the Clinical Manager, timely and collaboration with assessing RN with any discrepancies foundAdheres to Agency standards and consistently interprets and accurately performs all assigned responsibilitiesDemonstrates effective time management skills through daily tasks and infrequent overtime for routine assignmentsPerforms other duties as assignedWORKING ENVIRONMENTWorks indoors within the agencyiCERTIFICATES/LICENSES/REGISTRATIONLPN licensure in good standing with the State of Iowa.iThe employee shall possess a valid driveris license and must be eligible for the agencyis vehicle insurance and provide proof of private vehicle coverage.WORK HOURSHours are varied depending on the needs of the organization. This may include, but is not limited to days, nights, weekends and holidays.iTRAVELFrequent travel within a 25-mile radius is expected for this position.
