UnityPoint Health Inpatient Psychiatry - Nurse Practitioner - Cedar Rapids, Iowa in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
UnityPoint Clinic is searching for a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join their Inpatient Behavioral Health team at St. Luke’s in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The St. Luke’s Behavioral Hospitalist team consists of a team of Physicians and ARNPs, that are providing full inpatient care to the Adult Geriatric, Adult and Child adolescent units.
Care and treat for inpatient psychiatry patients of all ages on all three units
Position full time Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
One day per week call required
One weekend per month
Holiday rotation amongst group
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program in area of specialty, approved by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing.
Certification as Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the Iowa Board of Nursing, as RN and ARNP.
Psychiatry Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification required
Prior psychiatry care is preferred
Current federal DEA and Iowa controlled substance certificates.
Ability to work as a team member.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of healthcare computer systems and applications.
