Trinity Health Patient Access Supervisor (Cedar Falls) in Cedar Falls, Iowa

Description:

Assists the Patient Access Manager in overseeing functions of Patient Access at all Medical Group locations. The functions include the coordination of registration/scheduling/telephone services at these locations as well as designated locations in all service areas. Provides orientation and ongoing training to staff relating to these functions. Performs QI/QA activities relating to Patient Access. Interviews, selects, and hires Patient Access staff. Conducts processing of the biweekly payroll. Schedules and coordinates all staffing requirements Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values of MercyOne.

What you will Do:

  • Coordinates and performs Clinic registrations and related functions.

  • Coordinates scheduling and telephone duties and related functions.

  • Provides orientation and training of the new and existing personnel for his/her designated locations.

  • Performs Performance Management and QI activities relating to the registration/scheduling/ telephone functions.

  • Acts as a liaison for the clinic enterprise.

  • Financial Management and Viability

  • Human Resources Management

  • Compliance and Privacy

  • Supervisory Practices

80 hours biweekly (1.0FTE)

*Minimum Qualifications: *    

  • High School plus specialized training

  • 6 months – 2yrs Medical Secretary experience preferred

  • 3-4 years medical office experience preferred
