Position Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for Sonographer for its Carroll office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: performing diagnostic medical sonograms and general radiology follows prescribed safety standards in operating imaging equipment, consults physicians/radiologists as necessary, examines images for technical quality and diagnostic usefulness, and performs general radiologic procedures as required. Instructs patients regarding procedures.


  • Completion of accredited course radiologic technology or Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology.


  • Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in general radiology, mammography and sonography.

  • Completion of AMA approved course in sonography or radiology technology

  • Current certification by ARDMS

  • Current BCLS certification

Days: Monday - Friday As Needed

Hours: M-F 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM as needed


  • Combination of education and diagnostic "ultrasound imaging" experience may be substituted for completion of 12 month course in sonography.
