If you are a reliable and detail-oriented individual interested in agriculture and science, this is a great opportunity for you. A well-known industry leader in agricultural science is seeking a full-time temporary/contract worker for their Ankeny, IA facility. This is a 2nd shift position working Monday through Thursday 10 hours per day from 3:00 PM to 2:00 am. Seeking local candidates who live in central/Des Moines/Ankeny, Iowa. A resume is required. Previous lab or science background required. Must have the legal right to work within the U.S. without sponsorship. No C2C.

salary: $17 - $19.25 per hour

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 2 AM

education: High School

Responsibilities

In this laboratory assistant position, you will work as part of a team and specific training will be provided. Primary responsibilities include:

• operation of the laboratory equipment and the gathering of data

• care and maintenance of laboratory equipment

• receipt and inspection of samples, ordering, and stocking supplies

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a laboratory or educational coursework in the sciences

• High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred

• Punctual and reliable to work the 2nd shift schedule

• Team player
