Aerotek Certified Medical Assistant in Ames, Iowa


This person will be rooming patients

Taking Weight, Height, and Vital checks

Gather accurate information from patients, why is it that they are visiting the clinic?

Working on computers to update patients' records within an EMR system

Performing tests such as blood sugar, A1C, uninalysis, pregnancy, strep, etc.

Completing blood draws, finger pricks, EKG's, stress tests

Complete appropriate forms or requisitions needed

Provide appropriate and timely documentation in the patient’s electronic health record using standardized workflows and processes.

Complete prior authorizations

schedule appointments for patients as needed

returning phone calls and following up with referrals


AAMA, American Association of Medical Assistant, CMA, Certified Medical Assistant, LPN, licensed practical nurse, blood draw, Nurse, AMT

CMA or Certified Medical Assistant, has to be AAMA


LPN or Licensed Practical Nurse, must have active Iowa nursing license
